At the 2006-10 review we made sure that bill increases for most customers were kept below the rate of inflation.
- Over the four-year period, bills for most household customers increased at 0.5% below inflation.
- Bills for non-household customers rose by 1.5% less than inflation.
Our final determination set out the price limits and the outputs for customers that Scottish Water should provide.
We also set targets to encourage Scottish Water to become more efficient and deliver better levels of service to customers. We report each year on Scottish Water’s performance against these targets.
